the new hoighty-toighty foodie condiment…cilantro chutney

Not sure I need to say anything else.  Use it as you would bacon:  on sandwiches, on salads, in pasta, with breakfast, mixed with avocadoes for a fancy-schmancy guacamole.  The list goes on…as a marinade for chicken, beef, pork or seafood, in burritos, on burgers, on chips, in eggs, off of a spoon….Eventually you will end up eating it straight out of the jar.

1 bunch of cilantro
1 Serrano chile
1/3 cup pine nuts
1/3 cup water
2 tbs freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tbs white wine vinegar
2 tbs mint simple syrup
1 tsp salt

  1. Put everything into a high-powered blender like a Vitamix.
  2. Start off on the lowest setting and blend until a smooth puree without chunks of pine nuts or cilantro.
  3. Stuff your face with it.

You’re Welcome.
